My journey in cybersecurity started with a simple question: how do attackers actually get in, and why are they often unnoticed? That curiosity led me to explore security logs, attack patterns, and eventually the world of threat hunting. Over time, I found myself drawn to the challenge of connecting small pieces of data into meaningful insights turning what looks like normal activity into something that reveals a hidden threat. For me, cybersecurity is not just about responding to alerts, but about understanding the story behind them and staying one step ahead of potential attacks. Professional Experience
I began my career in a Security Operations Center (SOC), where I learned the fundamentals of monitoring, triaging alerts, and handling incident escalations. This experience shaped my ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. As I progressed into a Tier 2 Security Analyst and Threat Hunter role, my focus shifted from reactive monitoring to proactive investigation. I started to look beyond alerts hunting for threats that might not yet be detected, analyzing complex behaviors, and developing detection use cases to improve visibility. This transition allowed me to contribute more directly to strengthening detection capabilities and improving overall security operations.
